TC Candler penyelenggara kontes wanita cantik dunia tersebut mengatakan, kontes yang diselenggarakan TC berbeda dengan yang lain. “Kegiatan TC tidak seperti kontes kecantikan lainnya. Kontes ini tidak mengusung siapa paling seksi atau apakah dari kalangan selebriti terkenal, tapi semata-mata mendasarkan penilaiannya pada masukan dari masyarakat. “Anda akan menemukan para pemenang adalah mereka yang selama ini jarang dikenal,” katanya.
Yael Shelbia yang menjadi peringkat pertama itu dengan gembira menanggapi prestasinya. “Jujur saya tak pernah sekalipun masuk peringkat pertama di bidang apapun. Ini membuat saya senang,” katanya.
Yael yang sedang bekerja sebagai model di Los Angeles, juga merasa senang dengan sikap akomodatif IDF, yang membolehkan dirinya bekerja sebagai model.
