Jakarta, BarisanBerita,com,- Peringatan keras disampikan Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN) terkait sejumlah negara asing yang melakukan mata-mata pada sejumlah lembaga negara.
Deputi VII Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN) Wawan Hari Purwanto berpesan kepada Kementerian Pertahanan, TNI dan Polri terkait modernisasi peralatan demi menjaga kedaulatan NKRI. Terlebih Wawan menyebut ada banyak peralatan negara milik Indonesia saat ini dijadikan alat mata-mata negara asing melalui satelit.
Hal tersebut disampaikannya dalam diskusi virtual yang digelar Persatuan Alumni GMNI bertajuk Pertahanan Negara dan Keamanan Nasional: Strategi, Kebijakan dan Pembangunan Sesuai Karakter Bangsa, Selasa (15/6/2021).
“Peralatan ini banyak diantaranya juga banyak yang ditempeli satelit mata-mata oleh pihak luar,” kata Wawan.
Wawan tidak menjelaskan peralatan apa yang dimaksud. Kendati begitu, ia berharap kondisi tersebut bisa menjadi perhatian supaya Indonesia bisa memiliki satelit sendiri.
“Sehingga tidak bergantung kepada satelit pihak lain yang akhirnya terjadi kebocoran-kebocoran,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, Wawan juga menilai perlunya ada evaluasi pada pembaruan peralatan-peralatan yang ada. Menurutnya hal tersebut penting guna menunjang kemampuan negara di bidang teknologi.
“Jadi penguasaan teknologi menjadi demikian penting supaya semua pihak memperhatikan dari sistem keamanan nasional,” tuturnya.
