BarisanBerita.com,- Aktivitas Wakil Komandan Senior Pasukan Garda Nasional Iran, Mohammad Reza Zahedi, kini tak akan ada lagi paska pembunuhan yang dilakukan Israel.
Negara Zionis tersebut sudah lama mengincar Zahedi karena dianggap ikut bertanggung jawab atas penyelundupan senjata dan pelatihan terhadap anggota militer Hisbullah di Libanon.
Menurut komentator dan koresponden untuk kawasan Arab, Hezi Simantov dan Anat Davidov, pembunuhan Zahedi sebagai konsekuensi atas aktivitasnya selama ini.
“Sebagai bagian dari militer Iran, Zahedi mengatur operasi penyelundupan senjata dari Suriah ke Libanon. Dia selama ini dianggap membuat pusing Israel karena kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan perlawanan terhadap negara tersebut,” kata Hezi Simantov.
Hezi Simantov menambahkan, kematian Zahedi merupakan pukulan berat untuk rezim Iran, dan pastinya membuat negara itu tak bakal tinggal diam.
“Israel punya data intelijen yang sangat baik terkait kegiatan Iran di Libanon, termasuk pelatihan untuk anggota Hisbullah. Dan di sisi lain, Iran nampaknya menghindari bertikai dengan Amerika secara langsung,” ujar Hezi Simantov
