Tuberkulosis (TB Paru) mengancam kesehatan warga Kota Bekasi. Jumlahnya mencapai 76.313 kasus selama 2019 sampai dengan sekarang.
“Ketiga penyakit ini bisa menyerang anak-anak hingga orang dewasa. Faktor penyebabnya kebanyakan dari lingkungan,” kata Kepala Bidang Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit pada Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bekasi, Dezy Syukrawati, Jumat (7/2/2020), seperti dilansir Indopos.
Dezy menambahkan, untuk penyakit ISPA selama tahun 2019 sebanyak 73.756 kasus. Sedang, jenis penyakit Pneumonia sebanyak 2.857 kasus. Namun, untuk penyakit TB Paru, kata Dezy pihaknya masih melakukan validasi.
Kebanyakan para penderitanya, kata dia, berasal dar kalangan anak-anak hingga orang dewasa. Dezy menjelaskan, untuk jenis penyakit Pneumonia infeksi yang menimbulkan peradangan pada kantung udara di salah satu atau kedua paru-paru, yang dapat berisi cairan.
Sedangkan, kata Dezy, untuk penyakit Tuberkolosis alias TBC adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri mycobacterium tubercolosis. Bakteri ini biasanya menyerang paru-paru sehingga disebut TB paru. Bahkan, peyakit ini bisa menyebabkan gejala umum seperti batuk yang berlangsung dua minggu atau lebih dan batuk berdahak.
“Penyebaran ketiga penyakit ini lebih dominan dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan masyarakat itu sendiri,” tandasnya.
